I just need to know how to do this problem There is a formula S=L+2B Becomes S=2(pi)rh + 2(pi)r^2 or S=(pi)dh + 2(pi)r^2 the problem is sideways cylander diameter 22cm height 9cm

they are the same formula since d = 2r

In this case, d = 22 r = 11 h = 9 pi = 3.14 (approximately)
