well the numerator is the difference of 2 squares one option it to graph it using https://www.desmos.com/calculator another is look look at what value of x in the denominator can't you have...? factor the numerator \[\frac{(2x - 4)(2x + 4)}{2x - 4}\] perhaps this may help
