Simplify each expression. Use positive exponents. PLEASE SHOW WORK EVERY DETAIL. A^4 b^-3/ab^-2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know you just showed me how to do this but.... they added a fraction and it messed me up

Nnesha (nnesha):

okay for this one there are same variable at the bottom and at the top so you need to exponent of variables(which is at the denominator) to the top for example

Nnesha (nnesha):

\[\huge\rm \frac{ x^2 }{ x^4 } = x^{2-4}\]

Nnesha (nnesha):

and when you moved exponent from top to bottom or bottom to top signs should change

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How do you have a ^2-4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I didnt even know that was possible

Nnesha (nnesha):

that is exxample |dw:1425979494107:dw|
