This is a subjective matter.
What is spam in my opinion may not be in yours.
If I close something considering it to be spam, Preetha won't have any problem with it.
Same goes for all mods.

I only close the ones I find unnecessary. Like congratulating people for achieving smartscore 75, or getting a green color. For 99 it's oke, same for birthdays, holidays and other special occasions. It's the feedback group, not the celebration section. If everyone keeps congratulating eachother every day this group would be clogged with those posts. So we remove the unnecessary posts, the duplicates (1 congratulation posts suffices), and posts that are older than 1 day.

A birthday is something to celebrate, getting a green smartscore is not. Getting 99 smartscore is the higherst achievement you can get so we tolerate those congrats posts for a day. It's that simple.

At leats @hartnn Agreed with me. :) Thomaster is a good mod. Hes strict because he loves openstudy and wants to keep it good. If it was just a personal issue asking thomaster in a pm nicely would have done the job.

Don't game the system! Keep medals and achievements valuable, so please avoid:
