What do you know about angles CED and CEB?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not much, I sorta didn't understand this question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you still need help?

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Angles CED and CEB are called a linear pair. They are supplementary angles. Their measures add up to 180 degrees. Add the given measures, and set the sum equal to 180. Then solve the equation for x. Once you know x, plug in x into 5x - 3 to find the measure of angle CED. Since angles CED and AEB are vertical angles, they have the same measure.
