Evaluate the following expression using the values given: Find 3x - y - 3z if x = -2, y = 1, and z = -2. A.-13 B.-1 C.1 D.13

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

this is just a matter of subbing in your known values 3x - y - 3z when x = -2, y = 1, z = -2 so we sub 3(-2) - 1 - 3(-2) -6 - 1 + 6 -- the 6's cancel leaving you with : 1 as your answer

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

understand ?

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

just remember that a negative times a negative is a positive and a negative times a positive is a negative.
