How to find friction force? In my recent experiment I was given only the mass. The mass is 0.0954kg. This mass is on a horizontal plane and is attached by a string over a pulley and just enough mass was added to the end of the string so the system would start moving with constant velocity. I know the net force on each mass is 0 since the acceleration is 0. So I'm confused as to how I should calculate the friction force. Then I need to calculate muk, which I would know how to do if I had the friction force! Any help is really appreciated!!
