OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

First of all @Millerforlife tell me what is 5+4+3+6=?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

18

OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

correct.

OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

now what is the height if you need to do 12*h ?

OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

12*what=100?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

20

OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

no. 12*20=240 but 12*8=96 and you CAN'T go over 100.

OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

now 20-36=-what?

OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

ok @Millerforlife if you can't figure out that then switch the numbers...what is 36-20?

@kirbykirby thank you for taking the time to come help me! :)

OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

I'm not sure what they mean by "naming' the like terms. Do you just need to add the like terms together?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah

OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

ok so the like terms are those that are multiplied with the same letter. For example, you can add this in the following way: \(4a + 2b + 7a = 11a + 2b\), you add the "a"s together. So here, you can add the terms with an m together.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

12h=120-36?

OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

oh I was looking at #6, but for #7 that would be correct

OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

you also need to know if it's true/false or an open sentence
