So the rule for dependent and independent phrases is this...If you set it off with commas, then it is not necessary for the meaning of the sentence. For example, in A. above...if you removed carrying only one bag, would that alter the meaning/intent of the sentence? the answer is yes right...So given that which one do you think is correct?
