This is off but here's what you do. Start at 8 on the vertical axis and go across (red line) to touch the line on the graph. From there, go down to to the horizonal axis and see what value of A gave 8 for B.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so at 10?

Directrix (directrix):

Is (9,8) or (10,8) a point on the line?

Directrix (directrix):

Look at the original graph.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its 9 on orig

Directrix (directrix):

Can you enlarge the original graph? I just looked at it and thought I saw (10,8) or maybe (9.5, 8)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I zoomed in( hold crtl and scroll up with mouse)

Directrix (directrix):

I used two rulers and got (10,8).

Directrix (directrix):

Fold two sheets of paper in half to make straightedges and put them against the screen.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

done i got it also
