How do I do this???

OpenStudy (thatonegirl_):

What is "this" exactly?

Hey there! Welcome to openstudy! Whats your question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Lost on this question.

OpenStudy (thatonegirl_):

I forgot all that stuff, I'm sorry D:

OpenStudy (welshfella):

the length of QS = length of QU

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, I understand that, so I just set them equal? I was confused whether or not I have to use any variable for the length of RS that they don't give you?

OpenStudy (welshfella):

also QR = QT 2y + 9 = 15 find y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got Y to equal 7.5, and got QS to be 45, as well as QU. Am I right?

OpenStudy (welshfella):

and RS = TU = 4y plug in value of y to get value of RS then you can get value of QS

OpenStudy (welshfella):

no y is not 7.5 solve 2y + 9 = 15

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oops dumb adding/subtracting mistake. So y equals 3, plug it in to get QS as 39?

OpenStudy (welshfella):

no QR = 15 and RS = 4y = 4*3 = 12 QS = QR + RS = ?

OpenStudy (welshfella):

you right that y = 3 but you got QS wrong

27! Thank you!
