OpenStudy (elonasushchik):

A scientist studies a model of a widely accepted theory about the position of planets and sun. The model would most likely help the scientist to prove that the theory would not change in the future demonstrate how the theory can be changed into a law understand facts which cannot be easily observed prove that all other facts about the universe are incorrect

pooja195 (pooja195):

your in the math section once again post in biology

OpenStudy (elonasushchik):

k I think Its a

pooja195 (pooja195):

that means put this in biology not here

OpenStudy (elonasushchik):

i will next time i promise..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what if they find new evidence that proves otherwise? I think that it is B.

OpenStudy (elonasushchik):

ohhh thats right...

OpenStudy (elonasushchik):

I think that too.. Thanx Guys !!!

pooja195 (pooja195):

is this a test?

OpenStudy (elonasushchik):

no its just a pretest...

pooja195 (pooja195):

My advice is that you do it by yourself so you know what to go over for the test

pooja195 (pooja195):

take it or leave it your choice

OpenStudy (ybarrap):

Prove, demonstrate, or understand, which of these does a model of a system provide is the question? No model will prove anything. In science, models can always be changed with new evidence, that is why \(\bf{\text{in Physics we call them Laws, not Theorems, as we do in Math.}}\) This implies that all Laws can be overturned. So that leaves demonstrate and understand. Studying something like a model is not a demonstration. Modeling something is used for the sole purpose of understanding something. Does that make sense?

OpenStudy (elonasushchik):

yes Thanx! @ybarrap <3
