How can an exponential function be created? *MEDAL*

OpenStudy (johnp12):

http://www.purplemath.com/modules/expofcns.htm does this work

OpenStudy (ahsome):

@flvsucks, an exponential function is created when the \(x\) value has a power that is not 1 or 0. Example: \(x\) Is not an exponential, since it only has a power of 1 \(x^2\) is an exponential, since it has a power of two.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There is a difference between power function and exponetial function...well \[x^2\] is a power function but \[2^x\] is an exponetila function

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so to copmute a an exponetial function: let say a function f is said to be a function if it is in the form of \[a^x\] where \[a >0\]

thank you all 3 of you
