Which ordered pair is a solution of the following. 3x+y/3=12 A.0,38 B.2,12 C.3,9 D.3,12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It work like this: the format for coordinates is always (x,y) so just try plugging the answers into the equations and which ever gives you the right answer thats the one you should choose.

can you plug them in for me @OdinMW ?

@FateRocks8D

Ill do the first one for you so you understand. A. (0,38) =(x,y) so 3x(0) +38/3 = 12.666 Thats not the one. Try the next one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you understand what I did there?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes thanks @OdinMW
