Question 4i please http://papers.xtremepapers.com/CIE/Cambridge%20International%20A%20and%20AS%20Level/Mathematics%20(9709)/9709_s08_qp_3.pdf
look up tan(A+B), tan(A-B) formulas
I did, (tan 30 + tan x)/(1+ tan30tanx) = 2(tan60-tanx)/1-tan60tanx)
I would start the same.. looks good
hey wait, double check the formula once
Could you point out the mistakes?
doesn't the addition angle formula (which i always forget) do it?
Whats that?
nvm it is what you are doing
it seems there is a mistake in both formulas that you're using http://upload.wikimedia.org/math/2/9/3/293bf1a2868133bf4ae1042b706a3c14.png
Ahhh, no wonder.
Notice that in tan(A+B) formula, the denominator has negative sign, not positive..
yes thanksss. i just realized this. D:
