Which sentence uses a verb that agrees with its subject? A. The leaves on our tree has fallen. B. Many birds during winter migrates south. C. Earlier in the day, the sun were hidden by the clouds. D. The monkeys at the zoo swing from metal branches.
which 2 do u think?
Remember a Plural subject has to have a plural verb and a singular subject has to have a singular verb. Now in English verbs with an "S' at he end can be singular even though they "seem" to be plural. For example He swings on the tree vs. They swing on the tree. So be careful and good luck!!
c
Not C. b/c Sun is singular and were is plural. Try again...
d
