I wrote this report for History class; got to turn it in this Monday. I can't figure out how to end it. Any suggestions?
srsly? i gotta tag ppl? fine... @techygirl @Godlovesme @DullJackel09
I find it to be pretty good. Most teacher prefer their students do papers in Times New Roman, font 12, double spaced
yeah, she told me to do 12 font and double space it, but didn't mention font type. good idea, though. any suggestions on how to close it?
I was taught to reword my introduction for my conclusion and then maybe add one concluding sentence
@TwilightRain1 double space is not clicking the space bar twice... you have to go up to the tool bar and go over to the paragraph section, there you will see a thing that has two arrow going in opposite directions, click the one that says 2.0 thats double space
@Heypips srsly? i didn't know that. i usually hand write reports...
@TwilightRain1 yeah... teachers like it double spaced so that they can write comments in between.
Yeah only space once, but select 2.0 spacing that means the lines are farther apart.
ohhhhh ok got it. thx :)
yw
yeah THANKS for helping explain that @horsegirl27
lol ik u did most the explaining sorry but I did help
@horsegirl27 i'd give you a medal if i could...
did you double space it?
i did, but it seems to have un-double spaced...
i think i got it now...
That's good. And it's ok I don't need a medal
here, you can have a star instead :D 🌟
wow, never mind, then
lol it's fine
i still can't figure out how to conclude it. i tried rewording the first paragraph, but it doesn't work...
@nothingwasthesame
ok i found this see if it helps
Give your reader something to think about. Try ending with a question. For instance, 'Campaign advertisements should help us understand the candidate's qualifications and positions on the issues. Instead, most tell us what a boob or knave the opposing candidate is, or they present general images of the candidate as a family person or God-fearing American. Do such advertisements contribute to creating an informed electorate or a people who choose political leaders the same way they choose soft drinks and soap?' Or you can have the reader think about the future. Like so, Without well-qualified teachers, schools are little more than buildings and equipment. If higher-paying careers continue to attract the best and the brightest students, there will not only be a shortage of teachers, but the teachers available may not have the best qualifications. Our youth will suffer. And when youth suffers, the future suffers.
hmm, thx. i REALLY wish i had more medals to give...
its fine
ok, i think i'm done... @nothingwasthesame @horsegirl27 @Heypips
