WILL MEDAL AND FAN QUICK HELP problem is in the attachment, thank u so much if you help!
\(\large\color{black}{ \displaystyle \sqrt{11} }\) i just a constant
so, when you say for example f(x) = x - a that is a polynomial function
Polynomial - has whole number powers (including a power of zero) and therefore it is defined for all domain (and not necessarily, but mostly for all range, if the power of x is 0).
A non-polynomial will (usually, except for exponential functions like e^x, which is non of your options) will be UNDEFINED for some value.
You can look through your options and tell me which function will be defined for any x-value. Or/And which function will not be defined for at least 1 x-value. can you do that for me please?
Am I too abstruse?
nope, i understood it all, thank you so much! (: @SolomonZelman
oh, very nice..... just to verify, what answer did you choose?
