If f(x) = x3, which of the following describes the graph of f(x + 2)?

I really would like to know how to solve it by myself, so if you could teach me how that would really be helpful.

if f(x)....is centred on zero and you move it f(x+2) what would make it zero
ie x =-2 so the graph moves left 2 units
ditto f(x-2) x moves 2 units right
