If f(x) = x3, which of the following describes the graph of f(x + 2)? a.The graph of f(x + 2) is a vertical shift of f(x) = x3 two units up. b.The graph of f(x + 2) is a vertical shift of f(x) = x3 two units down. c.The graph of f(x + 2) is a horizontal shift of f(x) = x3 two units to the right. d.The graph of f(x + 2) is a horizontal shift of f(x) = x3 two units to the left. I really would like to know how to solve it by myself, so if you could teach me how that would really be helpful.

if f(x)....is centred on zero and you move it f(x+2) what would make it zero ie x =-2 so the graph moves left 2 units ditto f(x-2) x moves 2 units right a good site for maths is cliffs notes
