Sorry for not explaining with words, But checked using the FOIL method of simplifying polynomials. That's how I got:
(4x+5y)(4x+5y)

i (kinda) understand FOIL but how did you simplify 4x(4x+5y) to = (4x+5y)
?

The letters FOIL stand for First, Outer, Inner, Last. First means multiply the terms which occur first in each binomial. Then Outer means multiply the outermost terms in the product.
