Whats the radius? All i need to know and i should have your answer.

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

A sphere has a radius of 5x + 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5x+3

OpenStudy (openstudyrocks5*):

That doesn't count as a radius... i guess. im using something and it says it has to be positive.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well thats what the qestion says

OpenStudy (openstudyrocks5*):

... It wants a radius and a postive

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i feel depressed.... ( ._.)

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

no, you need to use 5x + 3 as the radius and do some algebra.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@IrishBoy123 exactly

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

so for surface area = 4 π r^2, replace the r by 5x + 3 then you're schmooking!
