OpenStudy (anonymous):

A<B^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C<D

Directrix (directrix):

Are two different problems posted here or just one? And, what text was cut off on the 2nd answer option of the first question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no i have A<B AND C<D on two different post ^ bc i couldn't fit them all on the page

Directrix (directrix):

What words are inside the red loop?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

those are C AND D I couldn't fit them all on one post

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Directrix

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@mathmath333 @alexwee123 @Answers101 @CGGURUMANJUNATH

Directrix (directrix):

Options C and D are out of the ballpark. They map the range to the domain.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so its either A OR B

Directrix (directrix):

@popmusicisrichpeOPLE Why will you NOT say what words were cut off in option B of the question. Click on the attachment below and post what those words are, please. Thanks.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i already said it is C AND D > I couldn't put all 4 on one post

Directrix (directrix):

I did not ask what answer options letters they have.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im confused

Directrix (directrix):

I am not confused. I am frustrated because I think I know how to help you find the right answer and you will not tell me what I need to know. Words, I need to know the words on this attachment. The words you cut off. The words in your text.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Directrix (directrix):

Just click on that and tell me what those words are at the very bottom. That is all I ask.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its those sorry . idk why but my account got delete

Directrix (directrix):

Saw your post. Got it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry i get it now . sorry about that. at first i was just confused on what you were asking me to show u

Directrix (directrix):

To the problem. In a function, the same x cannot go to two different y values. In the relation you are given, x of -2 goes to -5 and also to 6. Because of that, the relation is NOT a function.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so either A OR B

Directrix (directrix):

We are mapping domain to range. So, whatever option letter this is -- this is the correct answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm thinking its A

Directrix (directrix):

Correct Option.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so B

Directrix (directrix):

Whatever letter this is, that is it. ^^^^^

Directrix (directrix):

A is incorrect because the words state that it is a function.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thANKS :)

Directrix (directrix):

It is not because -2 goes to 6 and -2 also goes to -5. The same x cannot go to two different y s in a function.

Directrix (directrix):

You are welcome.

Directrix (directrix):

An important thing happened here. I didn't know what you meant and you didn't know what I meant but we respected each other enough to keep going until we both understood. Thank you are that experience. You are a good role model.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:) i like to be nice to people
