why are amino acids important in the process of expressing a gene ,such as eye color ?

OpenStudy (somy):

do you know what is made of amino acids?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't know

OpenStudy (somy):

alright do you know what are proteins?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes

OpenStudy (somy):

so proteins are made of amino acids and these amino acid sequences of a particular protein are encoded in genes genes are in DNA and DNA has information on what eye color will you have the expression of this character, eye color, is done through translating DNA info into proteins which show the expression, & proteins i mentioned earlier are made of amino acids DNA is like a book of instructions while proteins are the ones that make those instructions of DNA happen

OpenStudy (somy):

i hope its clear?
