What role does your heart play in delivering oxygen to your body cells? (Points : 3) The heart pumps oxygen through the alveoli, which deliver it to body cells. *** The heart pumps oxygen-rich blood to your body cells. The heart takes in oxygen from the environment and delivers it to cells. The heart breaks down carbon dioxide into carbon and oxygen. (Check my answers?)
This should help @JulieBeans http://kidshealth.org/teen/your_body/body_basics/heart.html
thanks :)
Did I get i right?
Wait I got it its C Thjanks @jagr2713
I think that is correct :D @Somy
Thanks! :)
the three stars option is correct one
The heart takes in oxygen from the environment and delivers it to cells. " this is C & no, heart doesnt take oxygen from the environment and delivers it to cells its your respiratory system that does it, in other words you nose, trachea, larynx, pharynx, bronchi, bronchiole and alveoli in short you lungs do it not your heart all your heart does is 'pump the blood' around your body by its beating
this pumping generates circulation of blood around your body & as it goes to your lungs region, the blood gets oxygenated, and comes back to heart and gets pumped out from left ventricle to the aorta which branches to more vessels and transports this oxygenated blood to all cells in the body
so you originally were correct (if that 3 stars shows the option you originally chose)
