What are the coordinates of the fourth point that could be connected with (–8, 0), (1, 0), and (1, –5) to form a rectangle?

basically the idea is to find the lengths of both sides (you can make a drawing for this part), and then add the corresponding distance to one of the points
if you want to check, its really easy, just use the formula for the distance: \[d(p_1,p_2)=\sqrt{(x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2}\]

from here you can observe that the x coordinate of the point is -8, and y is -5, which leads to p=(-8,-5)
