Choose the answer that identifies the principal part of the verb used in the sentence. "Who does the work on your car"? ("Does"is the underlined word) A. Base form B. Present participle C. Past D. Past participle Help please? Will give a medal (:

I believe the answer is B, but I'm not entirely sure.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you explain why you think it's B? (: please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Actually i decided it's not B, present participles have "ing" like "teach- ING" so B is out of the question. So it's between A, C, and D

Then in that case, it might be the base form. But I'm confusing myself here, because I see the base of "does" as "do". Correct me, if I'm wrong.

I look at it as "did" like "who DID the work on your car?"
