The Colombian Exchange also known as the triangle trade was established when Columbus Connect the "New world to Europe" (by accident) but what was discovered was a trove of resources not cultivated by the natives due to the fact that they didn't place as much emphasis on monetary gain, the discovery of massive deposits of gold, silver, sugar and other desirable goods led many European nations to seek expansion in the New World. Many goods were exchanged and discovered in the new world these goods proved to be extremely desirable for example Tobacco, this is what led Europe to seek colonization
