PLEASE HELP WILL GIVE A MEDAL https://bradley.owschools.com/media/g_ima01_2013/3/page32a.gif In the diagram, line AD line BF and angle m COE = 55°. If m angle 2 = 2x and m angle 3 = x + 10, what is the measure of angle 2? A. 15° B. 30° C. 45° D. 60°

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Divide 55 by 2. There's your answer. AD is a perpendicular bisector making that angle COE split in half. If that whole angle is 55 degrees then two is half of that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm sorry that was wrong. 2x+x+10 =55. Solve for answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3x+10=55. 3x=45. 45/3 =15.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The answer is A.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, okay. I thought I was supposed to divide by two also, so I was confused that it wasn't one of the answer choices. And thank you so much!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep! :)
