First f all, polymer is an organic compound formed by the combination of 2 or more organic compounds of same or different natures, realeasing water as one of the products, basically. When the polymer is natural, it means the reaction is biological, like for instance the reaction between melanine monores to give an aminoacid or a protein. Also the reaction btween glucose to give polycarbohydrates. It is a synthetic polymer when it is not biological. It is made in a laboratory. For instance the formation of Nylon, is made by reacting certain aminoacids artificially.
