*Will Medal and Fan* <3 What is the mean of Variable A?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (matt101):

To find the mean, add up all the values of variable A, then divide that sum by the number of values you had. You can find all the values of variable A just by looking at the graph!

OpenStudy (matt101):

(Each point has a separate value for variable A, even if that value appears more than once)

OpenStudy (p0sitr0n):

since those are iid variables, im assuming you need the distribution mean and not the sample mean. then use \[\bar{Y}=\frac{\sum^n y}{n}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so, 2,2,4,5,6,7,7,8,10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

added all gave me 51/9=5.666666.....

thx @matt101
