Well let's say there was a user that made multiple accounts to inflate their stats (ss). Mods would want to make sure it's the same user. Also, mods can send your IP address to online schools if the mods know that you're cheating and using OS for tests, exams, etc. as online schools do not allow cheating.

Basically yes, so the school can track who exactly uses the os account that is in their system. So, it's best not to cheat. ^_^
