foil method help will give medal and will become a fan
The FOIL Method is a process used in algebra to multiply two binomials. The lesson on the Distributive Property, explained how to multiply a monomial or a single term such as 7 by a binomial such as (4 + 9x).
(a+b)*(c+d)=a*c+a*d+b*c+b*d

thank you AlexandervonHumboldt2
example : (x + 3)(x - 2) F -- first -- multiply first terms in each set : x * x = x^2 O -- outside -- multiply outside terms in each set : x * -2 = -2x I -- inside --multiply inside terms in each set : 3 * x = 3x L -- last -- multiply last terms in each step : 3 * -2 = -6 now put it all together x^2 - 2x + 3x - 6 -- combine like terms x^2 + x - 6 and thats how it is done :) Questions ?
