post your question please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Write the equation of the line that passes through the given points. (2, 3) and (2, 5) What does that mean? Like what form do I put it in?

Nnesha (nnesha):

slope intercept form y = mx +b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, thank you! :D

Nnesha (nnesha):

first you have to find slope use this formula \[\huge\rm \frac{ y_2 -y_1 }{ x_2 -x_1 }\] you have two order pair where \[\huge\rm (x_1,y_1)(x_2 ,y_2)\] replace x and by their values and solve

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The slope would be 2/0. Would that mean the answer is 0 or undefined?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=2? Is that the answer?

Nnesha (nnesha):

2/0 you can't have 0 at the denominator so slope so undefined

Nnesha (nnesha):

so line suppose to be vertical
