@paki
is this a quizz?
a
No, it's a review :)
confused... with my answer here...
Well Kennedy was considered a very charismatic and well spoken individual who had a wonderful presence in the public eye thus, he was always considered to be vastly popular and many people were moved by his speeches. Nixon though intelligent did not have this same appeal since he wasn't as well spoken and had an awkward presence in the public stage also he wasn't as handsome as Kennedy was this put him at a disadvantage. Prior to his political career Kennedy was a solider and was seen as a hero. the advent of TV jettisoned Kennedy popularity because it played upon his strength of public speaking as well as his physical appearance and made that accessible to virtually every american family.
So A is not an answer choice then. The question is asking for the false choice...
C is also correct. So it's either B or D.
well see A is the answer choice since Kennedy didn't have an experience but more of a natural affinity for public speaking
Hm...from what I learned, Kennedy was very soft-spoken though.
you see kennedy and nixon were both the first to do a televised presidential debate
^ Yeah ik that...
