OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

What happens to body systems over time from infancy to adulthood to older adulthood? (A lot of stuff I'm sure, but it's really hard naming every single thing.)

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

Hello?

pooja195 (pooja195):

hmmm tell me what you know so far =)

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

The growing of teeth, the fusing of bones, the development of sexual characteristics.

pooja195 (pooja195):

how many of these do you need? Also do we have to list then or write an essay?

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

I think it's supposed to be essay-like. Not a godawfully long essay.

pooja195 (pooja195):

lol ok i want you to start typing a paragraph and ill guide you along the way sounds cool?

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

There are many things that happen to body systems over time. Teething occurs for infants, where they just start to grow teeth. They lose these baby teeth and grow adult teeth in their childhood-adolescence years.

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

Let me write some more.

pooja195 (pooja195):

ok

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

When you are born, you have close to 300 bones in your body. Over time, your bones fuse together and have 206 bones by adult hood.

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

In adolescence, you start to grow hair on parts other than your head (I won't go into detail for the sake of OS.)

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

Perhaps that will be enough.

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

It's only supposed to be a paragraph or two after all.
