An arithmetic sequence is one in which you ADD a constant to get the next number in the sequence.

A geometric sequence is one in which you MULTIPLY by a constant to get the next number in the sequence.

Look at the difference between each consecutive number in the sequence. Is this arithmetic or geometric?
