Describe how you would graph a figure that is translated by (x - 4, y + 2). Am I able to use it for school? I need permission to be able so help help. I will give a medal please I'm begging you!

Hey @Amelia_13, You have my full permission to use the answer given below :)! Let me know if it helps you. The point (x-4, y+2) say that we are taking the vertices given by x & y and moving them 4 units to the left and 2 units upward. So a figure that is translated by (x-4, y+2) will be moved 4 Units to the left and 2 units upward.
