What is the equation of the graphed linear model? y = x + http://static.k12.com/calms_media/media/1549000_1549500/1549111/1/2645d5608dd2447fe0a945a17ea65ea92e58e6cb/MS_IMC-141014-181215.jpg

take 2 points on the line and find the slope using slope formula slope(m) = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1) (4,16) ....x1 = 4 and y1 = 16 (6,12)...x2 = 6 and y2 = 12 now we sub slope(m) = (12 - 16) / (6 - 4) slope(m) = -4/2 slope(m) = -2 y = mx + b slope(m) = -2 use either of your points (6,12)...x = 6 and y = 12 now we sub and solve for b, the y intercept 12 = -2(6) + b 12 = -12 + b 12 + 12 = b 24 = b so your equation is : y = -2x + 24
