i dont know if most people will get this poem or connect or whatever but its something i wanted to share. Critics are encouraged!

Chasing a light that s seemingly behind

And you push me away to pick up a dime.

My birthday appears and who am I to see?

Your ghost inside a check.

That's all I get?

Money is greed and that's not what I need.

Not from you!

I just wanted you.

But instead you leave me

You never needed me or her

I thought we were family

But your nickname always was Barbie...

So I'm sorry I expected more!

I'm sorry I wanted a call from you

Why does this always have to be left on me?

Do I even fit in your family tree

Or does your ego fill it up entirely?

How bout love?

How bout blood?

What was I ever to you?

Just a doll to show to your friends?

I'm sorry but I'm not you.

And your always the center

Making the rest of the world bow down on one knee

Because it's what you pled.

So where does it end?

Better yet when does it start?

I always wanted to hug you

And mean that I love you

But your so deceiving

When you die no one will be bleeding

And a loss you will be

Just not to me

Because you were never there for me

I always wanted you to be

But you could never see past the view

Of the mirror in your way.

So I'm sorry to say

But I had to let this go.

And I have to stop hoping for you to be there

When you were always in it for another man

Never faithful to your true friends

The blood intertwined but somehow

You would never bind

And the rest of us were left behind.

So go on and gamble

Have fun with those so called friends.

But find a penny and you leave them.

I know because you do it again and again.

So lucky you bingo your a winner

Only it took a bargain

And you lost someone dear

Someone who was once hear

But she was lost out of tears.

wow.... I have no words. That was amazing. In the first line there appears to be a typo as there is an s on it's own... just a typing mistake. But this is so powerful, each word you wrote has an impact. And this is all so true. Sometimes people are pushed away for money. And that's just sad that money can mean more than love. It's sad that your "friends" might not be true friends. But wow... this poem is unbelievable. Great wok! You are so good about writing the truth the way it is.
