In a hospital ward, there are 15 nurses and 3 doctors. 9 of the nurses and 1 of the doctors are female. If a person is randomly selected from this group, what is the probability that the person is male or a doctor? I chose 8/18, is that right?

Is this multiple choice?
Yes, A. 9/18 B. 2/15 C. 8/15 D. 8/18
Yes, A. 9/18 B. 2/15 C. 8/15 D. 8/18
I put 8/15 and got it incorrect.....I believe it the actual answer is 9/18 since in the putting together of the female groups, one is somehow canceled out or something like that.
