Find the slope and the y-intercept of the equation 4x + 5y = -9.
Hey, @rhondahyde16 , \(\Large\tt\color{blue}{\bigstar Welcome~to~OpenStudy! \bigstar}\) Do you have an idea on what you should do first?
https://www.mathsisfun.com/algebra/finding-intercepts-equation.html ^ I always find this website very useful for me when I don't understand something. What that site goes over is sort of what the y and x intercepts are and how to find them, with the equation given...like your question. If you still don't get it after you take a look at that site, I can try to explain some, and possibly find another website. Let me know what you get when you're finished :)
Here's a tool I built just for you to understand slope and y-intercepts - https://tube.geogebra.org/student/m841513 Enjoy!
