if you had f(x) it is a function of x if you have f(3) you substitute x=3 so you have f(g(x)) so you have a function of g(x) meaning f(g(x)) you let x=g(x) so you have f(x)=-4x+7 then f(g(x)) = -4(g(x)) + 7 f(g(x))= -4(10x-6)+7

you are welcome :)
