What is difference between hydropower and hydraulic energy?
Both convert renewable resource into electricity - Hydro - mechanical conversion Solar - chemical conversion Both are considered to be green (help the flora and fauna to exist), but the water is on and underground, i.e. on the planet, while sun's rays are from outer space ...... and so on.
Well i asked about hydropower and hydraulic energy .not solar.
oh sorry really
no problem that happens. :D
hydraulic energy is the name describing the energy -- sense gravitational potential energy -- stored in say a reservoir. this energy will be converted into kinetic and other types of energy as water is allowed to run downhill. hydropower references the power you might get from that source as it tumbles through say a hydro electric power station. power measures energy per unit time.
Hydraulic Energy means energy stored in the form of water, whether via height, like a water tower, or under pressure, like insect muscles. Though it's made of oil, not water, hydraulic power equipment a foundation of much modern technology; everything from dental tools to elevators to earth-movers use it. Hydro Power means dams and waterwheels for converting hydraulic energy into some other form.
