sammixboo (sammixboo):

What is 12 - 4 and 4 - 2?

OpenStudy (amorfide):

slope is y/x your equation is upside down sammi

sammixboo (sammixboo):

Yes, whoops. y is supposed to be on top and x is on bottom. let me re-write

sammixboo (sammixboo):

For f(x) to find the slope you take 2 different points. We are going to take (2, 4) and (4, 12) 2 = x1 4 = y1 4 = x2 12 = y2 Plug those values into this formula Slope = \(\dfrac{y2 - y1}{x2-x1}\) Slope = \(\dfrac{12 - 4}{4-2}\)

sammixboo (sammixboo):

Thanks!

sammixboo (sammixboo):

I do that here and there

OpenStudy (amorfide):

happens to me too lol no worries :P
