what would the point of view of this cartoonist be and how does he feel about the issue? I feel like its the US trying to see what the other countries of the league are doing... im not sure though what it is trying to say about the views of the cartoonist himself.. help please?

Miracrown (miracrown):

In brief, what do you know about the US and the League of Nations?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well I know that it was Wilson's scheme to create it with certain European nations like Britain and France and they eventually forced Germany to sign the treaty or Versailles which became the end if WW1....that's pretty much about it.. and the fact that American citizens were uneasy about the idea of getting involved in foreign disputes

@Miracrown ?

The cartoonist likely felt that the US should have joined the league of nations (we did not). The cartoon shows us very concerned about what the league is doing but unable to influence or effect it because we are "on the outside looking in".

thanks:)
