Nnesha (nnesha):
yep right
pooja195 (pooja195):
\[4 \times~a^9\]
Nnesha (nnesha):
8^2 =64 right
Nnesha (nnesha):
so now you have \[\huge\rm 64a^2b^2 \times 4a^2\]
pooja195 (pooja195):
64 x 4 = 256

Nnesha (nnesha):
yes right
so when you multiply same variables you should add their exponent
a^2 and a^2 both have same base so when you multiply it you should ADD their exponent
pooja195 (pooja195):
so 256 a^11 b^2
Nnesha (nnesha):
nope
a^2 times a^2 = ??
add their exponent
pooja195 (pooja195):
huh??
Nnesha (nnesha):
\[\huge\rm x \times x = x^{1+1}\]
both x have "1" exponent so i added 1+1
