If you had to convert something like 4x + 5y = 2 into polar coordinates, what would you do with the 2?

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

let x = r cos theta, y = r sin (theta) 4 r cos theta + 5 r sin theta = 2 r ( 4 cos theta + 5 sin theta )= 2 r = 2 /( 4 cos theta + 5 sin theta )

Thanks I shoulda thought of that
