The potential energy of a +5.00 10-6 C charge decreases from 0.06 J to 0.02 J when it is moved from point A to point B. What is the change in electric potential between these two points?

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

the 0.06 J to 0.02 J potential energy drops refers specifically to the charge in question. but you can calculate the change in electric potential energy that **a charge if 1C** would have undergone in the same circumstances. that is what is meant by the change in electric potential between these two points. it is measured in volts.

So what kind of formula would I use for this?

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

V = PE / q V = potential (volts) PE = electrical potential energy (joules)
