@Awesome781 help?
what is the point of asking questions on here if u have google which is instant help rather than waiting for an answer like a dumb... nvm -.- you are talking about two different words here that dont even correlate to each other.. As far as I know Salaam is an Arabic greeting it's "salaam" or "salaam aley kum" meaning peace be upon you Religion: Islam? there are other religions too but i honestly dont remember #sorry and Salem witch craft is something that has to do with women and magic ya know...uhmm idk go back to yerr history notes back in high school or just google it instead of being lazy
If you read Genesis you'll discover that "Salem" is the Old Testament name for "Jerusalem", even more interesting is in the Torah, Pentateuch, Five Books of Moses, you'll find the commandment "do not let a witch live". The question is what is a witch, my understanding it is one that deceives by control another perceptions not one that actually has supernatural powers. The control of nature is what man does with science and to what extent that may take anyone knows.
If you have read the crucible, it explains a great deal about the salem trials. many people were blamed for witchcraft in order to save themselves
selah occurs a number of times in the KJB, example Psalms 88:10. I can't find an precise definition anywhere, the way it is apparently used it means something like amen.
Salam used in islam as a greeting
Yeah Salam is used by Muslims in the Islamic Religion. *Salam or salaam (Arabic: سلام, salam) is an Arabic word that literally means "the peace", but is also used as a general greeting, above all in Arabian countries and by the Muslims, but also in other countries where Islam is important.
salam in arabic means peace assalmualaikum means may peace come to you we use it whenever we meet somebody salem means peace also.
