Simplify the product using the distributive property. (4r-5)(7r+2) Simplify using a table.(6q+7)(2q+3) Simplify using a table (-2h-4)(5h+7) Simplify the product using FOIL. (3x-4)(6x-2) . A cylinder has a radius of 2x + 3 and a height of 6x + 1. Which polynomial in standard form best describes the total volume of the cylinder? Use the formula v= pie r^2 for the volume of a cylinder. A sphere has a radius of 2x+ 5. Which polynomial in standard form best describes the total surface area of the sphere? Use the formula s=4 pie r^2 for surface area of a sphere. What is a simpler form of the product? (3x-7y^4)^2 The area of a rectangular garden is given by the trinomial x^2+6 – 27. What are the possible dimensions of the rectangle? Use factoring. The area of a rectangular garden is given by the trinomial x^2+x-30. What are the possible dimensions of the rectangle? Use factoring. What is the factored form of the following expression? x^2+2xy-48y^2 The area of a rectangular art studio is given by the trinomial 24x^2 – 4x – 8. What are the possible dimensions of the studio? Use factoring. The area of a rectangular picture frame is given by the trinomial 3x^2-9x – 30. What are the possible dimensions of the frame? Use factoring. A family is building a rectangular patio in their backyard. The rectangular yard has dimensions of (8x+2) by (6x + 3) and they are planning the patio to be (x + 5) by (3x + 1). What is the area of the remaining yard after the patio has been built? What is the factored form of the expression? d^2+18d+81 What is the factored form of the expression? t^2+10t+25 What is the factored form of the expression? t^2-25

@rocklionmba

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is this a test?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no practice

OpenStudy (rocklionmba):

i can only help on the first ones, dont recall some of this...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i just took a test on this stuff so I can help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

please i need help

OpenStudy (rocklionmba):

couldent you just use FOIL for the first ones, i dont think there gonna notice know if you use that or a different thing.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont think you can

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah just use whichever method that you think is the easiest. you will get the same answers so it doesnt really matter

OpenStudy (rocklionmba):

yeah, that what my teacher tought me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well what methods can i use?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im not good at foil

OpenStudy (rocklionmba):

do the best your at.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont know what the one I like to do is called but for the first one you would set it up like this: \[4r(7r+2) -5(7r+2)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and than distibute right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then just mulitply. 4r*7r=28r^2 then 4r*2= 8r. do the same with the next parenthesis then add together the like terms.
